COOLDOG CASH DRAWS — OFFICIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Promoter
The promoter is [COOLDOG INTERNATIONAL LIMITED RM S007, 2/F THE CAPITAL 61-65 CHATHAM RD SOUTH TSIM SHA TSUI HONG KONG] ("the Promoter"). The official WhatsApp number is +33 6 98 42 05 72.
2. The competition
This is a promotional competition conducted in terms of Section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA), and is not a lottery. Two prize tiers run continuously:
- Monthly draw: five (5) winners of R200 each. Each monthly competition period closes at 23:59 SAST on the last day of the calendar month and is drawn within 7 days of closing.
- Quarterly grand draw: one (1) winner of R10,000. Quarterly periods close at 23:59 SAST on 31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December and are drawn within 14 days of closing.
All dates and times are South African Standard Time (SAST). Prize values may be updated on this page from time to time.
3. Who may enter
- Entrants must be 18 years or older and resident in the Republic of South Africa.
- The Promoter's directors, employees, agents and their immediate families may not enter.
- Winners must verify their identity, age and phone number before any prize is paid (see clause 9).
4. How to enter — product purchase channel
Buy a participating COOLDOG product from an authorised retailer, scan the campaign QR code and complete the online entry form: name, email, South African mobile number (+27, 10 digits starting with 06, 07 or 08), SMS verification, optional marketing consent, and confirmation of age and acceptance of these Terms. Completion of this form is one entry.
5. How to enter — FREE entry channel (no purchase necessary)
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. To enter free of charge, send a WhatsApp message to the official number in clause 1 in the format: ENTER [first name] [mobile number]. You will receive a verification code in WhatsApp; reply with the code to complete your free entry.
Free entrants and purchasers are entered into the same draw pool with identical odds. Purchasing a product does not increase your chance of winning and gives no advantage over free entrants.
6. Entry limits and points
- One base entry per verified person per draw tier.
- Members earn loyalty points (registration +10, profile & consent +20, welcome +50, daily check-in +5 per 24 hours, referral +30 per referred friend capped at 5 per day, purchase claim +15 per week for scan-channel members).
- Points may be redeemed for additional draw entries and other rewards shown in the REDEEM catalogue (e.g. 100 points = one extra monthly draw entry). Points have no cash value.
- Fraudulent, duplicate or automated entries will be disqualified. The Promoter's decision is final.
7. Prizes
- Monthly: five (5) × R200 cash, paid by EFT.
- Quarterly: one (1) × R10,000 cash, paid by EFT.
Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash alternatives unless the Promoter elects otherwise.
8. Winner selection
Winners are selected by an automated, server-side random draw from all eligible entries. Every draw is recorded with a timestamp, random seed, ticket counts and winner list in an audit log and can be re-run with the same seed to reproduce the identical result.
9. Winner notification and verification
- Winners are notified via the official WhatsApp number using the phone number on record.
- Before payment, the winner must provide a copy of a valid government-issued identity document and confirm they are 18 or older. The phone number must match the entry record.
- If a winner cannot be contacted or verified within 30 days, the prize is forfeited and a replacement winner is drawn using the same audited procedure.
10. Prize fulfilment
Verified prizes are paid by EFT within 30 days of successful verification. The winner is responsible for providing correct banking details.
11. Odds of winning
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the relevant draw period. The number of entries changes continuously and the Promoter does not publish a fixed probability.
12. Marketing consent (separate and optional)
Entering the competition does not grant the Promoter marketing consent. Promotional messages are only sent if you separately opt in (a tick box on the entry page, or by replying YES in WhatsApp). You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP or contacting the Promoter. Withdrawing marketing consent never affects your competition entry.
13. Privacy
Personal information is processed in accordance with POPIA and our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We collect only what is needed to run the competition: name, email and phone number.
14. General
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, WhatsApp, Meta or any retailer.
- The Promoter is not liable for late, lost or misdirected entries, network failures, or any loss arising from participation to the extent permitted by law.
- The Promoter may amend, suspend or terminate the competition for legal, regulatory or technical reasons. Material changes will be published on this page.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
